SCOTT Junior Trophy
The participants of the SCOTT Junior Trophy are eligible to participate only with a written consent of at least one legal guardian. In case of registering on-site, this must be documented with a signature of one legal guardian on the registration form. If the registration is done online, the consent of the legal guardian has to be given by signature on the declaration of liability.
Parents are obliged to make sure that their children meet the fitness requirements of the SCOTT Junior Trophy. If necessary, they have to consult a physician in order to check that.
All kinds of bikes are allowed to participate in the SCOTT Junior Trophy.
The following equipment is strictly not permissible:
· Bottle cages behind or under the saddle
· Drinking bottles made from non-deformable materials such as glass, aluminum etc.
All participants are obliged to make sure their bicycles are operating properly, especially with regard to brakes and other parts relevant to safety. In case of technical shortcomings a participant may be disqualified from the start of the SCOTT Junior Trophy.
1. STARTING AREA
The starting line of the SCOTT Junior Trophy is directly on the festival site (at the marathon finishing line – behind the Palazzo dei Congressi)
2. STARTING LINEUP
The starts take place in two time blocks. The starting lineup each begins 5 minutes before the starting signal. All participants take the first round together for a warm-up. The lineup is from big to small. The starting lineup for the first race (age class SCOTT Minis) happens straight after the arrival at the finishing line of the last cyclist in the trial round. Afterwards the following races are announced. All participants must pay attention to the announcements of the speaker! The age class that starts next will be called up and it must be on time for the starting lineup. If there aren't enough participants for one or several age classes, two or more age classes will be merged for one race (the scores will be kept separated, of course!). All cyclists should therefore be always within the reach of the speaker in order to be able to hear his announcements.
The SCOTT Junior Trophy takes place on Monday 1st, May 2017.
The first start is at ca. 10:30 am (SCOTT Minis), all other races of age-groups 2014 – 2009 follow with short breaks. The starts of age groups 2008 – 2003 are at ca. 12:30 pm. Whoever is too late for the start or wears no helmet will not be allowed to start.
The separate race classes each contest a round race.

In case of not appearing and not having informed us about this absence beforehand, we will raffle the prizes.
For the first three places of each category there will be trophies and great material prizes by SCOTT. Each participant will receive a finisher medal at the finishing line. After the award ceremony there will be a raffle of additional material prizes among all the participants. It's worth staying!
